About the Society
Johar Education Society, Pakistan (JESPK), a registered non-profit institution, founded in 2004 with the objective of supporting education and research activities. It is an association of senior educationists, research scholars and business professionals serving various colleges, universities and business organizations in Pakistan. Central mission of JESPK is to enhance education and scholarly activities in academically lesser developed countries in Asia. JESPK is dedicated to supporting the activities of education and research in commerce and cognate disciplines. JESPK continues to pursue its very basic aims, such as:
1) Promotion of education activities
2) Supporting useful, valuable and ethical research activities
3) Developing networks with learned societies and forums
JESPK believes in open access research content and attempts to provide the Content free of cost to academically lesser developed Asian and African countries.
JESPK is really thankful to all the authors, readers, reviewers and editors for their contributions in upgrading the Pakistan Journal of Commerce and Social Sciences. JESPK is further grateful and acknowledges the regular financial support from the Higher Education Commission, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training- Government of Pakistan.
Higher Education Commission of Pakistan
The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC), is a constitutionally established institution of regulating, funding and accrediting higher education institutes in Pakistan. It was established in 1947 as University Grants Commission and its Act was passed in 1974 by the Parliament of Pakistan (ACT No. XXIII of 1974). It was further reformed in 1999 through HEC Ordinance promulgated by the President of Pakistan. Its Quality Assurance Division has responsibility to recognize, regulate and fund to its more than 225 recognized/accredited journals of different disciplines published in Pakistan.

Pakistan Journal of Commerce and Social Sciences (PJCSS) is one of the HEC recognized/accredited journals that is funded by HEC and run by Johar Education Society, Pakistan. Editorial board of PJCSS is deeply grateful to HEC for its generous funding and intellectual guidance in running the journal successfully.
